Remember Sebastian, the adorable little crab with the Caribbean accent in ‘The Little Mermaid’? Well, he sang it more that two decades ago, and he was right: under the sea everything is always better… And that most definitely counts for the Underwater World of Curaçao. Famous for it’s crystal clear waters, even in very shallow waters, Curaçao offers some of the greatest shore dives and snorkeling in the world. But also further away from the shoreline and in deeper waters you will be amazed at the marvel and wonder of the rich Caribbean sea life. Curacao snorkeling and diving encompass 40 different dive areas, which cover 65 individual sites. Dive shops and schools are located along the entire Southern coast of the island, from the East all the way to the West. Most of them feature both beginners and advanced courses and while some will focus on extensive exploration of the dive sites in their own area, others are equipped with an entire fleet of dive boats, so you can enjoy numerous sites in multiple areas.
